When so many work environments are considered “open shop,” we feel it is important to educate our clients on the key differences between union and non-union labor.

Being a member of Teamsters Local 814, Globe has access to over 800 skilled moving and storage workers that are available to report to work in “real time.” When an organization is looking to relocate, the actual move happens during after-hours and could take anywhere from a few hours, to a few months to complete. Due to the unique conditions our teams are required to work under, it is difficult for non-union companies to source qualified part-time labor, whereas a union company has the actual means and resources to easily do so. Additionally, our labor pool  has been carefully vetted, and many of our laborers have been working with us for over 10 years.
